KAYLA WAS ADOPTED SEPTEMBER 30, 2000

Kayla's Story:

Kayla is a 3 year old purebred yellow lab. She is a very sweet dog. On the day we were pulling dogs from the shelter, Kayla started to wag her tail, asking us to come visit with her, as we passed her cage. As we walked away to look at other dogs, she sat there watching us with the most pitiful look on her face. Well, how could we not take her along? She is a typical lab, full of energy, but she understands that crate time means quiet time. She goes into her crate willingly and there is not a peep out of her until she is let out again. Kayla is an avid tennis ball player. She will sit, take off as you throw the ball, catch it, bring it back and then she will acutally let you take it out of her mouth to throw it again, and again, and again... She also rides very well in the car. Kayla is spayed, heartworm negative and current on her shots.
