HENLEY WAS ADOPTED SEPTEMBER 30, 2000
Henley's Story:
Henley is 8 months old and looks like a beagle and spaniel mix. He currently weighs 26 pounds so full grown, he should be around 35 pounds. He is a very sweet dog that gets along well with other dogs and cats. He found himself at the shelter because his owners moved and didn't want to take him along. What a mistake that was. Did they not realize what a gem of a dog he is? We even had to have our vet verify his age because he is so well behaved we thought he was older. He was very frightened at the shelter, huddled in a corner and shaking, but after just a few days in his foster home, he has blossomed into a very happy and playful little guy. He is excellent in a crate and has never soiled his crate. Henley is a very calm and loving dog and we are told he was great with children in his previous home. Henley is now freshly bathed, on heartworm preventative, current on his shots and ready to go to a home where he will always be a member of the family, no matter where the family goes.
