TOMMY WAS ADOPTED NOVEMBER 26, 2000

UPDATE:
Tommy is doing great! He has really adjusted quickly and calmed down immensely. He needs some work on his manners and obedience, but my wife doesn't cut him any slack and she will
get him in line you can count on that. Mocha (the barely visible chow to the far right of the picture above) and Tommy are getting along much better. He is not aggresive with her anymore except a little at feeding time, but that is slowly improving. And as for Mocha, she puts Tommy in his place when he gets out of line.

Tommy visited the vet yesterday and wasn't too crazy about being in a place with several other anxious, jumpy dogs. He thought maybe he was going back to the shelter. He sure was happy
when he returned home. The vet of course confirmed we had a very healthy animal, a little skinny, but healthy.

My son and Tommy are quickly becoming great buddies. He curls up alongside him at bedtime. Tommy seems to be comfortable and very happy in his new home and we are glad that he is here with us.

Tommy's Story:
Tommy is about 2 years old and he is a neutered male yellow Labrador Retriever. He is very sweet and playful, loves people, especially children, and gets along well with other dogs and cats. Tommy weighs 50 pounds so he is on the smaller side of the Lab scale. He rides beautifully in the car and was very well behaved for his bath. He knows "sit" and when you tell him to go get his tennis ball, that is exactly what he does. He loves playing fetch with tennis balls!
