HOLLY WAS ADOPTED OCTOBER 14, 2000

When we first spotted Holly in the shelter, she sat in her cage, looking at us with a "please take me" look on her face.  I must say that we always fall for that look, so it was Holly's lucky day and she was sprung from the pound and put in a foster home.  Holly is between 8 and 10 months old.  She currently weighs 35 pounds and should be between 40 and 45 pounds full grown.  Holly jumped right into the tub all on her own for her bath and was very cooperative while being bathed.  She rides very well in the car and gets along with other dogs. Although it is not beneath her to give a good chase when she sees a cat, she means them no harm.  Holly's favorite activities are going for walks (she walks very nicely on a loose leash), playing fetch and, of course, eating treats!  Holly is crate trained - no soiling the crate, goes in without a fuss, and remains quiet while crated.  She absolutely adores everyone she meets and greets with her tail wagging and kisses.
